Sharon Lyndon
Dance Teacher
Sharon trained at ‘The Valletort School of Dance’ in Plymouth from the age of 5. She gained a full scholarship to attend ‘Laine Theatre Arts’, where she obtained her teaching qualifications to teach ballet and modern theatre. After graduating she went on to teach and perform in Italy where she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working with children.
After returning to Plymouth she decided to open her own dance school, which has been running successfully for the past 25 years. Over the years Sharon has mentored and trained many pupils, successfully preparing them to audition and move onto the most prestigious and sought after ballet and musical theatre vocational schools, such as, ‘The Royal Ballet lower and upper school’, ‘Rambert’, ‘Elmhurst’, ‘Tring Park’, ‘Laine Theatre Arts’ and many more. These pupils have then moved on to dance professionally all over the world, including ‘Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures’ and ‘Northern Ballet Company’.
